25th Anniversary
This image was created using Adobe PhotoShop 4 for use on an anniversary card for my auntie and uncle. The background is one of my images called 'Event Horizon' which is included in this portfolio. A Perspective calculation was applied and the image copied thrice to cover the whole background. Each copy was scaled up to continue the pattern. Using the Quick Mask option, the distant sections were blurred using the Motion Blur filter.
The 25 part of the image was created using the Calculations section of PhotoShop. The Difference option was selected and a number of snapshots taken to apply highlights. The Plastic Wrap filter was used before rendering a number of Directional Lights onto the image. Two Lens Flares were used to finish the 25.
The two people were cutout from the photo below using the Colour Selection. Minor alterations were made and a Directional Light applied at their feet with the Metallic and Shiny settings maximised.
