A Simple Aluminium Can This image was the first that I created using both AutoCAD r13 and Adobe PhotoShop 4. The 3d geometry was created solely in AutoCAD using mostly revolved surfaces. Only the ring-pull was created using extruded surfaces. After rendering in AutoCAD, the 2d image was loaded into PhotoShop where the Watercolour filter was used a number of times to overlay the original colouring. This improved the shadows and gave the can an improved 3d effect. A Directional Light with high metallic and shiny values was then applied along with a Lens Flare to finish the image. |
