Clearing Skies This image was created using Adobe PhotoShop 4. I wanted to replace my Windows shutdown screen with something more interesting that blue sky, white clouds and that small reminder of William Gates. It began as a simple blue/white Difference Cloud, which was overlayed with a darker blue/white Difference Cloud. With these two linked a number of coloured Omni Lights were rendered (yellows, oranges and delicate whites) and a third layer added that contained a dark brown/black Difference Cloud. This was used to Screen the lower layers leaving only the browns visible. Using the Eraser tool with low pressure, sections of the screening layer were removed to give the impression of clearing skies. To finish a bright Lens Flare was added with a bright Omni Light with high ambience to represent the sun. |
