This image was created using Adobe PhotoShop 4. The original black and white pictures are shown below. Firstly the head was swapped for one with a more cheerful expression. Copying the second head to a separate layer and positioning over the first did this. Using the Rubber Stamp tool, the areas of the first head which were not covered with the second were removed. The Rubber Stamp tool was also used to paint in the section of the floor that was originally covered by the body. Once a complete floor section was available, it was Colourised.

The sky was generated using a number of Difference Clouds and coloured Omni Lights. When the desired effect was achieved, a Perspective Calculation was applied. To complete the image, the body and new head were adjusted using Levels and Curves to achieved 'super black'. The body layer was then made transparent.
