Chequered Wallpaper

This image was one of the first that I created in Adobe PhotoShop 4. It was used to brighten up my computer desktop. The original image was taken from the internet and is given below. Firstly the background was created. The image was Colourised using the Hue/Saturation function. This was next copied and inverted on another layer. These two layers were then positioned in a chequered format to fill the background. The same image was used to form the foreground. The sunglasses were removed using a Feathered Eraser and the layers Levels adjusted. This layer was then made approximately 60% opaque and coloured the chequered background.
