Razor

This image was the first that I created when moving up from AutoCAD r13 to r14. The razor happened to be the most interesting item on my desk at the time. The 3d-geometry contains a large number of arrays particularly along the grip section which tested my 16 megabyte ram machine. Materials were added and the razor rendered within AutoCAD r14 creating a large TIFF file. This was then loaded into Adobe PhotoShop 4 and a number of filters applied to improve the image’s representation of the item. The Watercolour filter was used greatly to Overlay the original render giving the metallic section an increased three-dimensional depth. To improve the metallic appearance a Directional Lighting effect was also applied as well as a large number of Lens Flares.
